Track Summary:
The term ‘intrapreneur’ was first defined in the 1960s by Pinchot—Dreamers who do. Those who take hands-on responsibility for creating innovation of any kind within an organization.

Entrepreneurship on the other hand for so long has become the buzz word when it comes to creating startups or businesses; what if we all quit our jobs to become full-time entrepreneurs? Well the truth is we all cannot become entrepreneurs; but we can work with and within existing systems, teams and structures to create, innovate and disrupt

Join me and other speakers in exploring the concept of corporate innovation and roles of intrapreneurs in building and sustaining entrepreneurship. In the session, we will discuss what it means to have an intrapreneurial mindset and how the synergy of mindsets (Entrepreneurial and Intrapreneurial) can foster innovation & collaboration within systems, institutions or organizations.

  • Session will look to Uncovering the Entrepreneurship Bias
  • Recognizing Intrapreneurship as a component of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
